Watch Tomorrow's Rodeo Stars ... Today

Once a year, the nation’s top college rodeo champions come to Casper to test their mettle in the ultimate battle between man and beast. The College National Finals Rodeo is often referred to as the Rose Bowl of college rodeo, and is consistently one of Casper’s top annual events. In 2009, Sports Travel Magazine compiled thousands of votes from its readers and named the CNFR the “Best Multi-Sport or Multi-Discipline Collegiate Event” in the nation. The event is held indoors at the Casper Events Center, and the best of the best among college rodeo competitors from across the country compete in saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping and goat tying. Casper rolls out the red carpet for participants and fans alike. Once the dust settles, what’s left is a crowd-pleasing, can’t-miss competition that determines tomorrow’s rodeo stars today. Plan to attend June 11-19.
